ABOUT ME
Originally from San Antonio, I built my career as a theater artist in New York City. I was fortunate to have some of the best theater teachers while in high-school and college. They helped me develop the skills nessesary to collaborate with other artists and build a thriving theater community from the ground up. I enjoy cooking and writing new plays. This site has not been updated since 2020.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I have written, designed, directed and performed in hundreds of plays in New York City and across the globe. The bulk of my artistic work was created in collaboration with the New York Neo-Futurists. Together, we have continuously toured and given theater workshops at universities and high-schools. Concurrently, I managed the 400 seat Florence Gould Hall in Midtown Manhattan, hosting over 500 live events & productions each year.
WHAT I DO
I teach the next generation of artists how to write, perform, direct, design, and create new works for the stage. I build community and safe environments for students to experiment and collaborate without fear of failure. I motivate and inspire others to find art in the mundane and the abstract, and most importantly, how to express the art they recognize within themselves.
